Can I just….ok I know I’m new, but whatever you wanna say about Oliver and his non jealousy or his obvious jealousy, just look at how he revealed Barry’s lie.
It was kind of malicious, he used it as a weapon against Barry in front of Felicity. Oliver wanted Felicity to see him take down Barry. He could’ve pulled Barry aside and made his threats in private, but he didn’t. Even with the information Oliver was given, it’s clear that the only thing Barry was/is a threat to is his relationship with Felicity.
Speaking of, just 2 episodes ago he clearly stated to her that he didn’t want to be with someone he could care deeply about. Enter Barry and Oliver’s stone cold demeanor throughout the episode toward basically everyone…except tiny moments with Felicity and his family. I’ve never really seen him that detached except for early season 1, before Felicity.
Then, of course, after the reveal Oliver realized that he fucked up. He fucked up bad and pretty much tore Barry a new one emotionally in front of his girl friday. A girl he has some sort of “feelings” for, whatever you wanna call them. I think he realized then, call it my shipper goggles, the reason why he did what he did and that he can’t push everyone that’s not himself away from Felicity because he may not be able to go to a certain level with her (right now), but he still wants her to be happy. So, he called Barry, fixed things because he was a huge jerk and let Felicity have her dance even though it wasn’t with him.
Ok, I rambled, so sue me.
I’m just gonna say this now, I’ll bet a nickel that Isabel is Ra’s Al Ghul’s daughter.
You don’t stick Summer Glau in a show like Arrow and not give her something to do action wise ‘k?
I want you to look into this Allen kid. There’s more to him than he’s letting on.
His intentions seem pretty clear to me.
Just do it, please.
Barry: Uh, I didn’t realize you and him were ..
Felicity: Oh no! We’re-he and I are not … pft
